Business Cards are printed full color on one or two sides with 4 paper stocks and 3 different coatings to choose from.

Paper Options:

  1. House Paper:
    14-Point C2S Glossy Cover is our normal house stock
    16-Point C2S Glossy Cover is our normal house stock
    100# Uncoated Cover is our normal house stock
    100# White Linen Cover is our normal house stock
  2. Green Paper:
    14-Point C2S Glossy Cover is our Go Green stock
    16-Point C2S Glossy Cover is our Go Green stock
    100# Uncoated Cover is our Go Green stock
    100# White Linen Cover is our Go Green stock
    (10% post consumer waste and 30% recycled)

If you want Green Printing, go to our Pricing Calculator and select the paper with Go Green in the name. Your order will be printed on green paper for no extra charge.

Coating Options:

  1. AQ Coating (Semi-Gloss) on the front side only for 14pt C2S
  2. UV Coating (Super High-Gloss) on the front side only for 14pt C2S & 16pt C2S
  3. UV Coating (Super High-Gloss) on both sides for 14pt C2S & 16pt C2S
  4. Satin AQ Coating (Matte) on both sides for 16pt C2S
  5. Uncoated stocks have no gloss coating

Turnaround Time:

  1. 2-3 Days on 14pt C2S stocks
  2. 2-3 Days on 16pt C2S stocks with Satin AQ
  3. 5 Days on 16pt C2S stocks with UV
  4. 5 Days on 100# Uncoated Cover stocks

For example on 2-3 Day Turnaround, if you send your files before 10:30 a.m. (PST) on Monday, you will receive an online proof within a few hours. If you approve your proof before 4:00 p.m. (PST) on Monday, then your job will be ready for pick-up or shipping at 4:00 p.m. (PST) on Wednesday or Thursday.

Note: Turnaround time begins from the time of proof approval.

What Makes a good Business Card?

Basics on Designing You're Own Business Card

First thing that Best Press recommends is that you think about what information you want to list on you're Business Card. This information is what the person will need to get in contact with you.

  1. Company or Business Name
  2. Slogan
  3. The card holder's name
  4. Phone Number/Email/Fax

Now The Fun! Think about the Graphics

Business Cards are wonderful to have and they represent you or your business. So the style of you're business card is what's going to separate you from the rest. For our clients designing you're business cards for the first time take advantage of our templates Templates (make sure you register you're account). Here are a few key point to designing a highly effective Business Card:

  • Choose fonts that are easy to read and reflect the image of your business. Fonts that are too small to read will make your business card unusable. Never go below text that is 6pt. in size.
  • Choose photos and images that are high resolution (300dpi minimum) and that describe your products and services.
  • Do not clutter. Open space is much more effective than too much information.
  • Always include your phone number, email and website. Do not include more than 2 phone numbers. It's simply not necessary.

    • Some terminology in reference to full color printing:

    1. 4/0 - Full Color Front / No Print On Back
    2. 4/1 - Full Color Front / Black and White On Back
    3. 4/4 - Full Color Front / Full Color Back

      4. These names are pronounced as "four over zero," "four over one," or "four over four".
